The card is created using vibrant alcohol pens with drops of neat alcohol, painted on to Yupo paper.  Yupo is 100% recyclable tree-free paper and has a gloss finish which means the inks sit on the surface and aren't absorbed.  This enables the artist to apply many different techniques such as dripping, misting, brushing and blowing.

The inks themselves are vibrant and when mixed with the alcohol produce a similar look to water colour paints.
